WHO WE ARE
Founder / Chairman
Rory founded Recycle Rebuild after 5 years in disaster response. He had grown increasingly frustrated with the large amounts of plastic waste he saw around the world and decided that his Masters in Architecture could be put to better use designing solutions to this problem.
Chris joined the team in 2018 when he had big ideas on how to deal with the huge amount of plastic waste building up after hurricane Maria in 2017. He met with Rory to discuss his ideas and after helping to secure key funding for the Dominican project was invited to join the board.
LISA BENSON, Ph.D

Lisa is the the newest member of the board joining the team in early 2020, but has been working closely with the team since the beginning. Lisa is a Professor, teaching sustainable tourist management and understands the importance of reducing plastic pollution to protect our planet.
